Novomer adds Dr. Charles Kresge to Board of Directors

Waltham, MA, October 17, 2016 - Novomer, Incorporated (Novomer) today announced the addition of Dr. Charles Kresge to its Board of Directors.  Dr. Kresge is President of ChemSciConsulting LLC, a consulting practice serving technology organizations in the chemical and energy industries.  He has over 35 years of experience in the field of catalytic materials and processes.  Charlie is widely known for his research on the discovery, characterization, and commercial application of mesoporous materials.  Prior to ChemSciConsulting, Charlie was the Chief Technology Officer of Saudi Aramco.  Prior to joining Aramco, he was Vice President of R&D at Dow Chemical.  Charlie holds over 100 patents dealing with novel catalysts and their applications, and has over 60 scientific publications, some of which are citation classics.  He obtained his undergraduate education in chemistry and physics at Swarthmore College and received a PhD in physical chemistry at the University of California, Santa Barbara.  Charlie is a member of the National Academy of Engineering of the US National Academies.
