Surfactants for Enhanced Oil Recovery
Novomer is developing breakthrough surfactants for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). Our PPC surfactants can be pumped downhole into oil wells, along with supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) to significantly increase the amount of crude oil recovered.
Novomerís flexible polyol technology platform enables the design of low cost, sustainable CO2-based polyols with performance characteristics tailored to suit a range of flexible, rigid, and microcellular foam applications.
Novomer is also developing polyols that are tailored to meet the processing and end product performance demands of polyurethane adhesive applications. One component moisture cured adhesives and two component reactive adhesives are currently in development.
